Brandin Cooks Back On The Field Thursday
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (hip, wrist) was seen at practice in the individual portion on Thursday after he sat out on Wednesday. Cooks typically gets a veteran rest day on Wednesday. The fact that he's back at practice on Thursday means he should be available to play in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders after he returned from a one-game personal absence last Sunday in the loss to the New York Giants. The 29-year-old will continue to serve as one of quarterback Davis Mills' top targets, but he hasn't been as reliable for fantasy managers in 2022 in this lackluster offense. Cooks hasn't even been inside the top-50 wideouts in half-point PPR scoring this year with 36 receptions for 391 yards and one touchdown in eight games played.
