Ottawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk signed a seven-year, $57.5 million extension with the club ahead of Thursday's season opener against Toronto. However, he won't be in the lineup for the game. Tkachuk isn't among the most prolific forwards in the league, but he's become a real hit among fantasy managers with his outstanding hits and shots stats. The 22-year-old finished second in the league in both categories last season. He also led the Senators with 69 penalty minutes. Tkachuk, who has 60 goals and 125 points in 198 games for his career, will carry an $8.214 million cap hit through the 2027-28 season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
