Bo Horvat Considered Day-To-Day
1 year agoNew York Islanders center Bo Horvat (lower body) is regarded as day-to-day and could miss his first game of the season on Tuesday versus Minnesota. He sat out Monday's practice after getting hurt while blocking a shot in a matchup against Carolina at the weekend. Horvat has been the Islanders' most productive forward with nine points (four goals, five assists) in 10 games. Oliver Wahlstrom replaced him on the first line in Monday's practice, with Mathew Barzal shifting to center. Wahlstrom has gone scoreless through five appearances so far this season, but a first-line role gives him an excellent opportunity to make an impact.
