Bo Horvat Bags Three Points Versus Buffalo
2 years agoVancouver Canucks center Bo Horvat registered his fourth multi-point effort of the month Tuesday, scoring a goal and recording two assists in a 5-4 victory at Buffalo. He ended up with the game-winning goal in the contest, having hit his 14th goal of the season on the power play 8:25 into the second period. Horvat has been in incredible form in front of the net this season, trailing only Edmonton's Connor McDavid in goals scored. One of his assists also came with the man advantage Tuesday. The Canucks captain is already on 20 points through 17 games, having upped his scoring average by 0.44 points compared to last year. He's been consistently around the 0.70 points per game mark, so Horvat's current form likely won't last until the end of the campaign, especially with his shooting percentage near 22 percent, but he must be filled with confidence right now and that should keep him performing at a high level for the time being.
