Bears Plan For Mitch Trubisky To Start In 2020
5 years agoChicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace announced that the team's plan is for quarterback Mitch Trubisky to be the starting QB in 2020. The Bears will likely look for a signal-caller in next year's draft, but they have no choice really but to give Trubisky one last shot to prove that he's a franchise quarterback. The 25-year-old took a notable step backwards in 2019, going 326-for-516 (63.2 percent) for 3,138 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He's proven to be nothing more than a game manager so far in his three seasons in Chicago, and he'll enter the 2020 season as a low-end QB2 for fantasy owners. Trubisky's leash could be very short.
