Bam Adebayo Flirts With Triple-Double In Loss
Bam Adebayo nearly notched what would have been his fourth triple-double in an overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Adebayo filled up the box score with 22 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, four blocks, and three steals in 41 minutes. The Skills Challenge champ has raced out of the starting blocks in the second half, with 21.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game in three contests since the All-Star break. It's worth noting that Jimmy Butler missed two of these games for personal reasons, though Adebayo might be able to sustain this level of play even when Butler returns. If he does, it's gravy for his fantasy owners.
