The Baltimore Ravens have a few holes on their roster that need to be addressed if they want to be legitimate playoff contenders. The Ravens (4-3) are essentially in a three-team battle for the AFC North crown along with the Steelers (3-2-1) and Bengals (4-3). With the NFL's trade deadline (Oct. 30) fast approaching and two division losses already in hand, the Ravens will have to decide whether to make a deal or stand pat. The offensive line and defensive backfield are the team's two biggest weaknesses. Baltimore Beatdown's Logan Levy suggested that the Ravens could fix both areas by acquiring center Rodney Hudson and safety Karl Joseph from Oakland. The addition of Hudson would really help a struggling O-line that is ranked No. 22 in run-blocking by Football Outsiders. While the Ravens own the No. 1 scoring and total defensive unit, they have had difficulties defending tight ends this year. Baltimore is allowing opposing tight ends the seventh most receptions (39) and ninth most yards (439) in the league. Joseph, who has struggled with injuries and inconsistency in coverage throughout his three-year career, would be an upgrade over current strong safety Tony Jefferson. Following their Week 9 bye, the Ravens hosts the Steelers, Bengals and the Raiders in successive weeks.--Daniel Benjamin
