Austin Hooper Stays Hot With 65 Yards And A Score
Austin Hooper didn't need the help of starting quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) to keep his breakout season going. With Ryan out in Week 8 and Matt Schaub getting the start, Hooper caught six of his seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown. He scored the only passing touchdown of the game for the Falcons. Schaub proved to be a very capable fill-in for Ryan, throwing for 460 yards in the game. Hooper is a clear TE1 going forward and should be started every week regardless of his quarterback at this point.
