11 months agoThe Houston Astros are "all in" on Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton, according to a source. Last year's failed trade will have no impact on whether Houston lands him this year. Britton got off to a bad start after a late start to the year with an Achilles injury, but he hasn't allowed a run in his last eight outings over eight innings since June 30. Hector Rondon has performed admirably in the ninth for Houston of late, so Britton may be in a setup role if he's traded to the Astros. That would be bad news for his fantasy value. Back in Baltimore, with Britton almost a lock to be dealt before the deadline, Brad Brach is a good stash, as he'd likely take over the ninth-inning duties in the absence of Britton.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
