Artavis Scott Snags Five Catches
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Artavis Scott was the go-to wideout in the team's first preseason game as he battled to make the roster. Scott hauled in five passes for 44 yards, and he spent time as a returner on both punts and kickoffs. Scott spent all of 2017 on the team's practice squad and is still buried in the depth chart behind the likes of Keenan Allen, Tyrell Williams, Travis Benjamin, and Mike Williams, but he's hoping big performances like this one will be enough to grab a roster spot in his second year. He's got a lot of competition from other camp attendees like Dylan Cantrell and Geremy Davis.
