Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin picked up his first victory of the campaign in Monday's 2-1 win versus the Ottawa Senators. The 33-year-old allowed just one goal on 20 shots against and had posted 58:47 of shutout hockey until Senators forward Vladislav Namestnikov finally beat him in the final frame. Having lost his initial three starts of the season, Khudobin's strong performance should be a confidence builder for one of last season's finest backup netminders (2.57 goals-against average, .923 save percentage in 41 starts). Given starting goalie Ben Bishop's lengthy injury history, the Stars will heavily rely upon Khudobin to provide similar performances as the season progresses.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
