Anthony Miller Will Undergo Surgery
5 years agoChicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace announced on Tuesday that wide receiver Anthony Miller (shoulder) will need surgery on his left shoulder, and it will keep him out until training camp next year. Miller had surgery on the same shoulder last January as well, so it's something to watch moving forward. The second-round pick in 2018 predictably fell back down to Earth in his sophomore season after scoring seven touchdowns in his rookie year. Miller came out of the gates super slow in 2019, but he rebounded in the second half and was granted more opportunities with Taylor Gabriel (concussion) sidelined. He should enter 2020 firmly entrenched as the No. 2 behind Allen Robinson, but Miller's fantasy upside is limited with Mitch Trubisky not displaying much under center.
