Cleveland Guardians infield prospect Angel Genao (shoulder) was activated from the seven-day injured list and is now back with Double-A Akron as of this past Friday. The 21-year-old suffered a right shoulder sprain in spring training that has kept him out until this point, but he recently completed an eight-game rehab assignment with the ACL Guardians during which time he went 8-for-26 (.308) with three home runs and a 6:4 BB:K. The switch-hitter played his first game of the year for the RubberDucks on Friday, going hitless in four at-bats in his season debut. The Guardians' fourth-ranked prospect (MLB No. 52) is coming off a phenomenal 2024 campaign and could find himself in Triple-A in the latter half of the season with a strong showing at Double-A. He looks like a potential multi-category fantasy producer in the making, so dynasty managers should be keeping a close eye on how he performs over the next couple of months.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerRead More News
