Carolina Hurricanes right wing Andrei Svechnikov tallied three points during their 4-0 victory over the New York Rangers on Tuesday evening. Svechnikov would open the scoring in the first minute when he beat New York netminder Igor Shesterkin with a wrist shot. In the second frame, Svechnikov would find the back of the net again, this time on a backhand shot. In the final frame, Svechnikov would tally the primary helper on Sebastian Aho's 17th goal of the season. Svechnikov added four shots on goal with a hit in this game. Over his previous five contests, Svechnikov has tallied five points (two goals, three assists). Fantasy managers should expect Svechnikov to continue to play on the second line alongside newly acquired Taylor Hall and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. He will look to stay productive on Thursday evening against the Chicago Blackhawks.--Andy Smith
