Andrei Svechnikov On Track To Return Tuesday
Carolina Hurricanes winger Andrei Svechnikov (upper body) looks ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets. After missing Saturday's clash against the Los Angeles Kings, Svechnikov rejoined his teammates in practice on Monday. The Russian forward is projected to join Taylor Hall and Jesperi Kotkaniemi on the second line, while he should also work with the second power-play unit. Svechnikov leads the Hurricanes with nine power-play goals and has posted 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) in 52 games across the campaign. Ryan Suzuki will exit the lineup on Tuesday and has been reassigned to the minors.
