Allen Robinson II's Contract Reworked
2 years agoAs part of the trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers, former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Allen Robinson II's contract has been reworked, according to a source. The Rams will pay $10 million total in 2023, and the Steelers will give him a $3.835 million signing bonus and a base salary of $1.165 million. Robinson will have a $10 million base salary in 2024, down from $15 million. The reworked contract will make the 29-year-old's salary cap hit not as bad for the Steelers moving forward, especially after he has combined for 749 receiving yards and only four touchdowns on 71 receptions in 22 games over the last two years with the Rams and Chicago Bears. There's potential for him to rebound in 2023, but it won't be easy alongside Diontae Johnson and rising star George Pickens.
