New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov (upper body) won't play in Tuesday's meeting with the San Jose Sharks. After returning to practice on Monday, Romanov seemed to be on track to play in Tuesday's matchup. However, it is now confirmed that he will miss a second consecutive game due to an upper-body injury. Romanov remains day-to-day and will get his next chance to return on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. Adam Boqvist will continue to fill in for Romanov. The Swedish blue-liner has a limited role on the team and doesn't hold any fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk
