Alex Reyes Will Work as a Starter When He Returns
7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals general manager Michael Girsch confirmed on Monday that starting pitcher Alex Reyes (elbow) would be used as a starting pitcher once he completes his recovery from Tommy John surgery. It was originally unclear whether Reyes would be used in the rotation or out of the bullpen, but perhaps his 0.00 ERA and 31 strikeouts over 16 rehab innings made the decision a bit easier. He's scheduled to make his 2018 debut on May 29 and has tons of upside. He needs to be owned in all formats.
