Washington Capitals left winger Alex Ovechkin scored his 43rd goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout victory against the Jets. Ovechkin's goal brings him into a tie with Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews for second place in the NHL's goal scoring race, as both trail Bruins right winger David Pastrnak's 45 goals on the season. Ovechkin has found the back of the net in three of his past four games, while recently surpassing the 700-goal mark for his career. Jakub Vrana and Garnet Hathaway each scored a goal in the contest, while goaltender Braden Holtby stopped 30-of-33 shots on goal. Ovechkin remains one of the best players across all fantasy formats for his goal scoring production, making the dominant forward a must-start player on a nightly basis.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
