4 months agoKansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon got off to a red-hot start this season, and it looked like swing changes he had made over the offseason had cured his woes. Unfortunately, he appears to have either fallen back into bad habits or simply petered out. After posting a .301 batting average in March/April, Gordon hit just .263 in May, and he's on pace to finish June around .240. His home runs have cratered, he's nearly stopped walking entirely, and his strikeouts have jumped. For any owners still holding out hope for the renaissance to continue, it looks like it's back to the Dark Ages for Gordon.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
