Alex Colome Picks Up Win
Alex Colome picked up his second win of the season in a 5-4 defeat of the Athletics on Saturday. Colome entered the game in the eighth inning, pitching a scoreless frame with a strikeout, and was the pitcher of record when Miguel Sano swatted a three-run homer to give the Twins the lead. The veteran reliever has turned his season around in May, logging six scoreless innings with a 5:0 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a .105 batting average against. Colome seems like he's back in the running for save chances, especially considering Taylor Rogers' shaky performances as the closer.
