Cal Raleigh Blasts 44th Homer
Cal Raleigh has been in a bit of a slump recently, but was able to make some noise during Saturday's game. Raleigh helped extend the lead with a three-run home run off right-hander Joe Boyle in the third inning. It was his 44th long ball of the season, which now puts him in third place for single season homers by a catcher. Raleigh put together an unbelievable first half of the season, but has really struggled to find the same magic since then. There is still plenty of time for Raleigh to keep mashing and earn himself the single-season homer record for catchers.
