4 years agoToronto Blue Jays rookie catcher Alejandro Kirk had another strong offensive performance on Saturday with two hits in three at-bats. His second single of the day was scorched at more than 110 mph. He's now 5-for-10 this spring with a home run and a BB-K of 1-1, which highlights his outstanding bat-to-ball skill. Kirk is battling Reese McGuire for the second catcher slot on the Jays' opening day roster. McGuire is 2-for-10 with a double and a BB-K of 3-2. Danny Jansen is expected to see the bulk of the starts behind the plate. If he makes the opening day roster, Kirk could be a sneaky-good addition in fantasy leagues with two catcher slots.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
