Adonai Mitchell 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: More Target Competition, Less Opportunities
Adonai Mitchell had a rocky 2025 season. After a mountain of preseason hype, due to his fast 40-yard-dash time and a few highlight reel plays (as well as blaming QB Quinn Ewers for all Mitchell's woes), Mitchell entered the NFL and looked pretty much like the same player he was in college. Terrible efficiency and inexplicable drops as well as concentration errors led to him struggling to get playing time. He logged just one game with double-digit PPR fantasy points. Now, the Colts have drafted tight end Tyler Warren in the first round, who will join Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs as the team's clear three top receiving options, presumably. In addition, Mitchell was clearly outplayed by WR Alec Pierce. The second-year pro stands fifth in the pass-catching pecking order now, giving him very little upside for the 2025 season. His issues will be exacerbated by Indy's poor quarterback situation. He's not worth consideration.
