Adley Rutschman Resting Up Wednesday
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman will retreat to the bench for Wednesday's contest against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. It's just a normal day off for the All-Star catcher, who went 2-for-8 with a home run and a double in the first two games of the series against the Dodgers in Baltimore. When he's playing, the 25-year-old left-handed hitter is a must-start in fantasy as one of the best young backstops in the game. The former first overall pick in 2019 is currently slashing .275/.374/.434 with an .807 OPS, 13 home runs, 16 doubles, 41 RBI and 47 runs scored in 404 plate appearances and 91 games in his second major-league season. James McCann is doing the catching on Wednesday and will hit eighth against Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias.
