Adin Hill Overcomes Rough Start In Sunday's Victory
2 years agoGolden Knights goaltender Adin Hill saved 38 of 40 shots as the team moved on to the Western Conference Finals with a 5-2 victory over Edmonton Sunday. The Calgary-born netminder had a horrific start to the game, giving up two goals inside the opening three minutes of play without producing a single save, but he was then rock-solid for the rest of the night. Only Marc-Andre Fleury (43) has recorded more saves in a series-clinching win. Hill filled in admirably for Laurent Brossoit (lower body) in the second-round series, going 3-1 with a 2.19 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage.
