Aaron Sanchez Undergoes Surgery
Aaron Sanchez (finger) underwent surgery on his finger on Tuesday. He's expected to be ready for spring training next year. Sanchez had 15 wins and a 3.00 ERA two years ago, but finger/blister problems have derailed his career each of the last two seasons. He finishes 2018 with a 4-6 record, 4.89 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 7.4 K/9 over 20 starts. There remains talent here if he can get past his finger injuries, but fantasy owners want to see it before they believe it in 2019.
