Aaron Rodgers Rejected Offer From Packers This Offseason
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers offered quarterback Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension this offseason that would have tied him to the team for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football, but he declined the offer. It shows that Rodgers really isn't about the money, and his relationship with the team's front office has really soured. There haven't been any other updates as to whether Rodgers will come back to the team in 2021, sit out the entire season or retire. Green Bay has been happy with the progress that second-year signal-caller Jordan Love has made this offseason, but he'd obviously be a massive downgrade for this entire offense if he were forced into the starting role in 2021. All of Green Bay's skill players and their fantasy value hinges on whether Rodgers will play for the Packers this year. Stay tuned.
