Aaron Judge Taking Batting Practice Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) will take batting practice with the team before their game on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians. Judge is not in the starting lineup against Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill, but he will test his hip in batting practice before the Yankees make a decision on whether to place him on the injured list. The 31-year-old slugger hasn't played since being removed from last Thursday's game early due to right-hip discomfort, and fantasy managers should prepare for him to potentially miss more time if he lands on the IL. If Judge does go on the IL on Monday, Willie Calhoun, who is starting in right field on Monday, would be in line to continue seeing more playing time in the Bronx.
