2 years agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad netted two goals in Friday's 3-2 win over Detroit to put a stop to a seven-game scoring drought. Both of his goals came on the power play. Ekblad moved to six goals and 16 points for the whole campaign. Florida's No. 1 defenseman hasn't had a great time ever since December started, with him posting only six points in 17 outings. Ekblad has suffered a huge drop-off in form, considering he was close to getting a point per game a season ago. There's still half of the season to go, but he definitely won't be getting anywhere close to his 2021-22 numbers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
