6/6:Now one of the Philadelphia Phillies three everyday outfielders in light of Rhys Hoskins’ injury, Aaron Altherr played a prominent role in Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The 27-year-old started in right field and batted fifth, drawing a walk and coming around to score on a home run in his first plate appearance. In the third inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that pushed Philadelphia’s lead to 4-0. In the ninth inning, still the only member of the Phillies starting lineup without a hit, he recorded an RBI single, driving in his second run of the game and his club’s final run in a 6-1 victory.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
