A.T. Perry Catches Just One Pass In Week 12
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 10 in the win over the Minnesota Vikings and was expected to be more involved coming out of the bye in Week 12 versus the Atlanta Falcons with Michael Thomas (knee) on Injured Reserve. However, Perry only caught one of two targets for seven yards on Sunday in a game in which both Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) were hurt and never returned. It was a disappointing showing for those that picked him up in deeper leagues after Thomas' injury, but it doesn't mean that he won't have a much more substantial role moving forward if one or both of Olave and Shaheed have to miss time. Along with Perry, tight ends Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson and receiver Keith Kirkwood could see more targets.
