A.J. Brown Draws Second-Lowest Target Total Of Season
12 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught four of five targets for 53 yards during the team's 35-31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17. The 26-year-old drew his second-lowest target share of the season, and while he led the Eagles in receiving yards, it was his lowest total since Week 12. The Eagles benefited from short fields early on in this game and never got into a rhythm offensively. DeVonta Smith (foot) left the game late and was spotted in a walking boot after the game. Brown will likely see a heavy target share next week as the only Eagles receiver with any sort of consistent production outside of Smith. Brown will continue to be considered a WR1 heading into the final week of the regular season.
