Please enjoy this PGA Premium article free for a limited time.

Hello RotoBallers and thanks for joining us for the Honda Classic! This is a new article that we're offering each week as part of our PGA Premium subscription, and we hope that you will find it useful.

Be sure also to read all of our other top-notch weekly PGA DFS and betting articles to help you win big!

RotoBaller PGA Expert Roundtable - Honda Classic

The Expert Roundtable is an attempt to get you inside the mind of our PGA staff for every tournament. Our four top golf writers - Joe Nicely, Spencer Aguiar, Josh Bennett, and Tommy Bell - will answer the same set of questions each week to give you an idea of how they are viewing the PGA DFS slate. Let's tee it up for the Honda Classic!

Who is your favorite DFS value play?

  • Joe Nicely: Russell Henley ($7,400)
  • Spencer Aguiar: Russell Henley ($7,400)
  • Josh Bennett: Brian Stuard
  • Tommy Bell: Keith Mitchell

Who is your favorite DFS “high priced” play?

  • Joe Nicely: Tommy Fleetwood
  • Spencer Aguiar: Tommy Fleetwood
  • Josh Bennett: Justin Rose
  • Tommy Bell: Billy Horschel

Who is your top GPP play?

  • Joe Nicely: Byeong Hun An
  • Spencer Aguiar: Shane Lowry
  • Josh Bennett: Byeong Hun An
  • Tommy Bell: Luke List

Who is your top Cash-Game play?

  • Joe Nicely: Daniel Berger
  • Spencer Aguiar: Sungjae Im
  • Josh Bennett: Harris English
  • Tommy Bell: Harris English

Which popular golfer will you be “fading”?

  • Joe Nicely: Harry Higgs
  • Spencer Aguiar: Billy Horschel (Honorary mention for Justin Rose)
  • Josh Bennett: Billy Horschel
  • Tommy Bell: Ricky Fowler

What stands out as the most important stat for this golf course?

  • Joe Nicely: SG: Approach from 150-200 yards, Scrambling, Bogey Avoidance
  • Spencer Aguiar: Ball Striking, Proximity From 150+ Yards, Bogey Avoidance
  • Josh Bennett: Ball Striking, Scrambling, SG: Approach
  • Tommy Bell: SG: Tee to Green, Bogey Avoidance

Who is your favorite DFS “dart throw”?

  • Joe Nicely: Tyler McCumber ($6,600)
  • Spencer Aguiar: Mark Anderson ($6,300)
  • Josh Bennett: Robby Shelton
  • Tommy Bell: Brian Stuard

What is your favorite bet of the week? (Any type)

  • Joe Nicely: Russell Henley FRL - +8,000
  • Spencer Aguiar: Corey Conners (-120) over Wyndham Clark
  • Josh Bennett: Xinjun Zhang top 20 (+650)
  • Tommy Bell: Keith Mitchell Top 20 (+800)

Make a “bold prediction” for this week:

Joe Nicely: Gary Woodland misses the cut. (I know I’m gonna regret this one!)

Spencer Aguiar: Billy Horschel finishes outside the top-25

Josh Bennett: Tommy Fleetwood breaks his made cut streak by missing this week

Tommy Bell: Billy Horschel, Shane Lowry, and Daniel Berger all end up in the Top 7 with one of them winning, making the top-priced golfers sub-optimal

Who is your favorite overall DFS golfer and why?

Joe Nicely: Byeong Hun An - He’s striking the ball beautifully as of late and is tremendous around the greens. Strong track record at PGA National. Just needs a “decent” putting week to be in contention.

Spencer Aguiar: Sungjae Im - Built-in safety to go along with nice upside.

Josh Bennett: Justin Rose - world class ball striker, great short game who is very underpriced in the field.

Tommy Bell: Daniel Berger/Billy Horschel - I love both of these guys based on current form, their upsides, and their history on Florida tracks. I probably like Horschel a tad more, but Berger is a bit cheaper. Long story short, I’ll have a lot of both!

What is your optimal DFS lineup building strategy?

Joe Nicely: DK pricing lends itself to “balanced” builds, which is probably the route I’ll end up taking for the most part. However, going “Stars & Scrubs” is an intriguing contrarian strategy this week on a course where literally anybody could miss the cut.

Spencer Aguiar: No preference. Believe you can make solid builds by taking all routes this weekend. PGA National is a volatile course, and there aren’t any shoe-ins to make the weekend.

Josh Bennett: Leaning towards stars and scrubs. Not excited about anyone in the middle ranges and there are some intriguing cheap names to pair with a couple expensive guys

Tommy Bell: For GPPs I’m thinking fairly balanced builds staying away from the top of the heap and focusing more on the Berger/Horschel/Lowry group paired with lower-priced, upside guys.

Who is your pick to win the tournament?

  • Joe Nicely: Tommy Fleetwood
  • Spencer Aguiar: Tommy Fleetwood
  • Josh Bennett: Louis Oosthuizen
  • Tommy Bell: Billy Horschel
