NFL Survivor League Picks – Survivor Pool Targets and Avoids (Week 15)

For all of you who chose the Colts, on my advice, and were subsequently knocked out, it’s not the end of the world. The Texans are the favorites to win their division, so you can bet against Brock Osweiler in the playoffs and win your survivor money back!

I'm here, as always, to try and help you identify the best survivor pool targets and avoids for Week 15 of the NFL season.  I will be trying something new this week. If you're still alive, you've used 20 or so teams thus far. So, I will be picking all 16 games, in order of my favorite games to least favorite, to give you more plays.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive BOTH our full season NFL and NBA Premium Passes for free, a $119.99 value. Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium Passes.

Survivor Picks - Rankings for Week 15

Seahawks -15 vs. Rams - This game will be over in five minutes. Seattle just got thrashed, and returns home to face the Rams, who just fired their head coach.

Falcons -13.5 vs. 49ers - Easy pick if you haven't chosen the Falcons yet.

Packers -7 @ Bears - The Packers have won three straight to get themselves back into the playoff mix. The last time the Bears beat the Packers at home was 2010. The Packers continue their win streak in Chicago.

Bills -10 vs. Browns - I really thought the Browns would win last week, but it wasn't meant to be. The Bills are in desperation mode to stay alive in the playoff race, even though their season is basically over. I'm sure the players will fight for Rex Ryan's job. How could you even lose to the Browns at home?

Redskins -5 vs. Panthers - Each week I like the Redskins more and more. Their offense has so many weapons, but their defense is iffy. That's fine this week because the Panthers have struggled on offense all year. The Redskins will win this with ease.

Steelers -3.5 @Bengals - If you've held onto the Steelers this long, it's time to use them. The Steelers looked phenomenal on Sunday in Buffalo. Everything was clicking, except for Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers would have won by 30 if not for his three interceptions. However, Roethlisberger is 12-2 in his career in Cincinnati. He loves playing there. I think the Steelers put up at least 40 this week.

Raiders -3 vs. Chargers - The Raiders have 10 days to prepare for this game. The talent on the Raiders is far superior to San Diego's. The Raiders will be able to score 30 in this game. That doesn't bode well for the Chargers who are averaging 20 points over their last four weeks.

Cowboys -7 vs. Bucs - If Dak Prescott struggles in this one, the Tony Romo murmurs will grow louder and louder. I expect the Cowboys to take care of business on Sunday Night Football.

Chiefs -6 vs. Titans - The Chiefs are rolling, and people think they are the most complete team in the AFC. Some talking heads even think they're the best team in the AFC. I'm scared all of this talk goes to their head. But then I look at the stats and see Marcus Mariota completed a grand total of six passes on Sunday and got the win. Mariota will have to step up in one of the loudest places to play. Chiefs win by a field goal.

Texans -6 vs. Jaguars - The Texans won on Sunday because of their defense, not Brock Osweiler. Osweiler threw for 147 yards, no touchdowns, and a pick. I know the Jaguars are awful and usually find a way to beat themselves, but I don't know how anyone could bet on Brock Osweiler in their survivor pool.

Ravens -6 vs. Eagles - I wonder how the Ravens fare on a short week off a hard fought game in New England. The Eagles have nothing to lose so that scares me. I also don't know if the Ravens can score enough to win.

Cardinals -2.5 vs. Saints - These teams are so frustrating. The Cardinals special teams is atrocious. And the Saints defense is terrible. This game is likely to come down to a special teams mishap.

Patriots -3.5 @Denver - I'm sure the large majority of people have taken the Patriots already. If not, don't use them this week. Denver has been a tricky place for Brady and Belichick throughout their careers.

Vikings -4 vs. Colts - Not worth a look.

Giants -4 vs. Lions - Who would you rather trust in this one? Eli Manning who should have thrown three interceptions on Sunday night, or Matthew Stafford who is injured? This game will come down to the last minute.

Dolphins -2.5 @ Jets - This game will be on Saturday Night in the Meadowlands. Rivalry games always scare me. And who knows if Ryan Tannehill will be gimpy or not? Stay away.
