Week 6 Running Back Rankings Analysis

I haven't given up on LeSean McCoy yet. He's improving and I think he still looks good. This is a decently tough matchup but I'm holding out hope. DeMarco Murray finally gets a tough matchup against Seattle. This will be a huge test. Supposedly they plan on scaling back his touches a bit, which is probably a good idea against this team. You're still starting him without a second thought. I loved what I saw from Ben Tate, I'm comfortable enough to put him in my top 10. Lets not forget he was destroying the Steelers until he got injured in Week 1.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

I'm really excited to see if Branden Oliver can give a followup performance to last week. I think he's going to be good but he'll need a big game here to make it a sure thing. I am much lower on Andre Williams than most. I think he is touchdown dependent. He'll probably get 20 carries for 60-70 yards and he'll need a score to make it a worthwhile day. Luckily that is what he does best. Am I foolish to have Bishop Sankey in my top 20? Probably. But against the Jaguars it's hard not to be optimistic once more.

I'm also high on Ronnie Hillman but admittedly it's a risky bet. Hillman is projected to be the lead back this week, but the Jets are a tough defense and he might only see 50-60% of the carries. That said, I expect the Broncos to win a blowout here and 60% of the carries could mean 20 touches still. Joique Bell will be back this week and he really needs a good game. I don't want to start him here but I still think he's worth a roster spot. Knowshon Moreno is looking likely to make his return. I'm guessing its 60/40 in favor of Lamar Miller, but keep an eye on him and see how he does. Let's not forget how good he was in Week 1.

Good luck in Week 6 RotoBallers!
