Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Edward Cabrera, Jack Leiter, Andy Pages, Kirby Yates, Jonatan Clase

Jose Butto - Fantasy Baseball Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 4 (2024). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Edward Cabrera, Jack Leiter, Jonatan Clase, and Andy Pages.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 4 -- April 15 through April 21 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. We saw top prospects such as Texas Rangers right-hander Jack Leiter, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages, and Seattle Mariners outfielder Jonatan Clase recently promoted to the big leagues. Other top prospects, such as Paul Skenes, James Wood, Junior Caminero, Kyle Manzardo, and Joey Loperfido, patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Miami Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera, who was outstanding in his season debut. The 26-year-old allowed one run and one walk while striking out 10 across six innings. Texas Rangers right-hander Kirby Yates collected his first save on Monday and has yet to allow a run this season. Washington Nationals outfielder Jesse Winker continues to crush the ball, hitting .526 (10-for-19) with two home runs and three RBI over his last five games. Injuries continue to pile up as fantasy managers will need to replace Ozzie Albies, Christian Yelich, Kris Bryant, Seiya Suzuki (oblique), and Yu Darvish, who were all recently placed on the injured list.

This edition features players such as Edward Cabrera, Jack Leiter, Andy Pages, Jonatan Clase, Kirby Yates, Reynaldo Lopez, Jesse Winker, Martin Perez, James McArthur, and Jose Caballero. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects that are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free- agent adds off waivers. I will be pinch-hitting for Nick in the next few weeks.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you with our weekly ranking for the relevant waiver wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). Roster % is from Yahoo leagues.
