Welcome RotoBallers to our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 2 - April 1 through April 7 - to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. The Rangers recently called up infielder Justin Foscue from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday. He should see an ample amount of playing time with Josh Jung (wrist) and Nathaniel Lowe (oblique) on the injured list. Top prospects such as Jackson Holliday, Paul Skenes, Coby Mayo, Chase DeLauter, and Kyle Manzardo patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Chicago White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet, who is off to a hot start, owning a 1.38 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and a 16:1 K: BB ratio across 13 innings. Houston Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco threw a no-hitter in Monday's win over the Blue Jays. Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jared Jones was electric in his MLB debut on Saturday, striking out 10 over 5 2/3 innings. Fantasy managers will need to replace Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung, who will be sidelined for the next 8-to-10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his wrist.
