Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Garrett Crochet, Jared Jones, Jason Foley, Brice Turang, more

Garrett Crochet - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups, Closers and Saves

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 2 (2024). Free agent hitters and pitchers to add include Garrett Crochet, Jared Jones, Justin Foscue, Jason Foley, and Brice Turang.

Welcome RotoBallers to our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 2 - April 1 through April 7 - to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. The Rangers recently called up infielder Justin Foscue from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday. He should see an ample amount of playing time with Josh Jung (wrist) and Nathaniel Lowe (oblique) on the injured list. Top prospects such as Jackson Holliday, Paul Skenes, Coby Mayo, Chase DeLauter, and Kyle Manzardo patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Chicago White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet, who is off to a hot start, owning a 1.38 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and a 16:1 K: BB ratio across 13 innings. Houston Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco threw a no-hitter in Monday's win over the Blue Jays. Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jared Jones was electric in his MLB debut on Saturday, striking out 10 over 5 2/3 innings. Fantasy managers will need to replace Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung, who will be sidelined for the next 8-to-10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his wrist.

This edition features players such as Garrett Crochet, Jared Jones, Abner Uribe, Jason Foley, Brice Turang, Victor Scott II, Ronel Blanco, Justin Foscue, and Jack Flaherty. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects continue to be called up that are making impacts, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone who isn't familiar, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free agent adds off waivers.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

Below, you will see our list of waiver wire pickups in prioritized order. There should be waiver wire recommendations for all league sizes, along with the player's position(s) and rostered percentages.
