Michael Pittman Jr. fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Michael Pittman Jr. for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments through the first two weeks. He has scored just 12.2 combined PPR fantasy points in the first two games while totaling only seven catches for 52 yards. On top of that, Pittman has a tough matchup against the Bears secondary in Week 3.
Pittman should be lined up against Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson for most of the game. Johnson has allowed just one catch so far this season and ranks top-15 in target separation (1.2), yards per target (2.7), and catch rate allowed (16.7%). As a result, the Colts wideout is a risky play in most leagues this weekend.
Michael Pittman Jr. is dealing with a back and a calf injury, Colts don't believe he's in danger of missing the Bears game. The same goes for Braden Smith, who was dealing with knee soreness.
Ryan Kelly was a vet rest day.
Sounds like Latu might be a game-time decision.

Pittman is also dealing with a back and calf injury that held him out of practice on Friday. Assuming he can still suit up, the 26-year-old should likely only be started as a flex play in 12-plus team leagues this week.
