MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

Braxton Garrett OVER 4.5K (-170, DK) vs. WSH

I'll take a look at Braxton Garrett's strikeout prop to start things off tonight. Garrett has cleared this number in four of his last five starts and at a 62% clip over the course of the season. He takes on a Nationals lineup that doesn't strike out against lefties very often, but Garrett has been striking out hitters at a 36.6% strikeout rate over the last two weeks, and projects to a 25.55% strikeout rate and 5.02 strikeouts today.

Bryce Elder UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed (+120, DK) vs. COL

I'll take a look at the under on Bryce Elder's hits prop next. Elder will take on a Rockies lineup that ranks 24th in wOBA (.294) and 25th in wRC+ (82) against right-handed pitchers on the road. They bring in a .310 wOBA against Elder's pitch types and a projected .303 wOBA overall against Elder today. Elder on the other hand projects to a 4.18 SIERA and just 4.11 hits allowed in this one.

Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 TB (-115, DK) vs. OAK

I'll start off as far as hitters go with Bryce Harper. Harper has been putting good swings on baseballs, going 2-4 last night. Today, he'll take on Oakland righty James Kaprielian, who has a 6.99 SIERA and projects to a 5.77 SIERA today. Harper projects to a .396 wOBA against Kaprielian's pitch types, and a .393 wOBA overall today. Harper projects to 2.07 total bases today, so we're getting solid value here.

Carlos Santana OVER 1.5 TB (+145 DK) vs. MIL

We'll take a look at Carlos Santana next, as he takes on Milwaukee southpaw Wade Miley. Miley will be making his first start since May 16 against the Cardinals. Miley brings in a 5.17 SIERA over the course of the season, and projects to a 4.83 SIERA against the Pirates today. Santana has crushed lefties over the last week with a whopping .721 wOBA, has a .342 wOBA against Miley's pitch types, and projects to a .349 wOBA today.
