Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Week 10 (Friday Updates): Josh Allen, Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, Ezekiel Elliott, Darren Waller

Jonathan Taylor - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE for Week 10 (2022), as of 11/11, including Josh Allen, Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, Ezekiel Elliott, and Darren Waller.

We're still in the part of the season where bye weeks are a real factor and when you add in injuries, there are a ton of key start-or-sit decisions at the halfway point of the NFL season. Our injury updates and reports for Week 10 as of Friday, November 11th, 2022, will get you up to date on the latest news surrounding key players. As always, some players have more "real" risk to miss Week 10 than others, but things change quickly, so it's important to stay up to date.

Josh Allen, Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, Ezekiel Elliott, Darren Waller, and more are all in real danger of missing Week 10. We have plenty of must-starts on this week's injury list, so fantasy managers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some wide receivers and see whether they may play in Week 10.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Josh Allen Injury Update

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) wasn't seen at practice on Thursday in the portion open to the media. It will be Allen's second straight missed practice after he suffered a UCL injury in the Week 9 loss to the New York Jets, putting his status firmly in doubt for this Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Buffalo considers Allen day-to-day, but if he doesn't return to practice on Friday, he'll almost certainly give way to veteran backup Case Keenum in Week 10.

Fantasy managers that have been riding the 26-year-old Allen as a must-start QB1 should already be scrambling for a potential replacement if you don't already have one on roster. All of Buffalo's offensive skill players would need to be downgraded in fantasy if Allen is unable to play.

Jonathan Taylor Injury Update

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Thursday, which is good news for his availability in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Taylor missed the Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots and has now missed three total games due to the injury.

It looks like he's trending towards playing this weekend, but Taylor's fantasy value has fallen in a Colts offense now led by quarterback Sam EhlingerDeon Jackson (knee) served as the team's lead back in Week 9 with Taylor out, but he hasn't practice yet this week and is in danger of being inactive on Sunday. If Jackson cannot play, newly acquired Zack Moss could have a significant role as Taylor's backup.

D'Andre Swift Injury Update

Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. The Lions continue to cap his practice reps as Swift manages lingering ankle and shoulder issues. The 23-year-old avoided any setbacks in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. "We're hopeful we can give him a little bit more this week," said head coach Dan Campbell.

Swift is expected to play Week 10 against the Chicago Bears but carries some risk as Detroit continues to ease the former second-round pick back into action.

Ezekiel Elliott Injury Update

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) was listed as limited practice participants for the second straight day on Thursday. The Cowboys fully expect Elliott to return in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers after he sat out in Week 8. Dallas had their bye in Week 9. Backup Tony Pollard went off for over 100 yards and three touchdowns in Week 8, so it's very possible that Dallas limits Zeke's snaps in his return this weekend.

Pollard has already looked more dynamic and explosive in the backfield than Elliott for the second straight season. The Cowboys will want to keep Elliott healthy for the long run and a potential playoff run, so he'll be a shaky RB2 play if he's active this week.

Darren Waller Injury Update

The Las Vegas Raiders placed tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Thursday, according to a source. Waller aggravated his hamstring injury and the Raiders think this will give him four weeks to get healthy in order to finish the season strong. He won't be eligible to play in the next four games, so fantasy managers need to keep him stashed in an IR spot for the time being.

The 30-year-old has been a huge disappointment as a TE1 for fantasy managers in 2022, as he has just 16 receptions for 175 yards and one touchdown in five games. Foster Moreau will continue to serve as the top pass-catching tight end for Vegas, although it hasn't amounted to much. Moreau has only 11 receptions on 19 targets for 101 yards and no scores in his last three games with Waller sidelined.

Ryan Tannehill Injury Update

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, meaning he'll likely return to the starting gig under center in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos. Tannehill has missed the last two games, but he's certainly trending in the right direction this week to put an end to that two-game absence. Rookie Malik Willis, who looked much like a rookie in his first two starts, will head back to the bench if Tannehill returns.

Tannehill hasn't been very good for fantasy managers as a QB2 this year without a legitimate No. 1 receiver, and he'll be going up against a Broncos defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to the QB position. Tannehill will be a quarterback to fade this weekend in his likely return, even in two-QB setups.

Keenan Allen Injury Update

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen did not practice on Thursday. The beat goes on for Allen, who has been the most frustrating early round fantasy commodity in 2022. He's played in just two games and has caught six passes for 77 yards and no touchdowns, and it looks like he's going to miss another game this weekend against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

The 30-year-old is a target hog when healthy and must remain stashed. He says he won't return until he's 100 percent. Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter will continue to have expanded roles with Mike Williams (ankle) still on Injured Reserve.

Treylon Burks Injury Update

The Tennessee Titans designated rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks (toe) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, opening up their 21-day window to officially activate him from IR. Burks practiced Wednesday and Thursday and has a shot to come off IR and play in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos after battling turf toe. The first-rounder was put on IR on Oct. 8. In his first four NFL games (two starts), he has 10 catches for 129 yards.

Burks dealt with conditioning issues in training camp and was brought along slowly, but he was just starting to see a bigger role in the passing game before his injury. There's a very good chance he'll be eased back in when he returns, but Burks has plenty of upside for fantasy managers and is worth stashing in all formats.
