Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Wild Card Round Updates for Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, David Njoku, Raheem Mostert

Amari Cooper - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Betting Picks

Fantasy football RB injury updates and reports for Wild Card Weekend (2023), as of 1/10, including Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, David Njoku, and Raheem Mostert.

Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for running backs in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, as of January 10. The injury statuses for various NFL players are up in the air for Wild Card Weekend, including Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, David Njoku, and Raheem Mostert.

As fantasy football and sports betting continue, every decision, transaction, and lineup change matters. These are critical injuries to keep track of throughout the week. Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your opponents.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some running backs and see whether they may play in the Wild Card round.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Tyreek Hill Injury Update

The Dolphins, who did not practice on Tuesday, estimated Hill (ankle, quad) as a limited participant. This bodes well for his chances to practice over the next few days, and he should be good to go versus the Chiefs.

Amari Cooper Injury Update

Cooper (rest, heel) did not practice on Tuesday. As a veteran and one of the Browns' top playmakers, it's no surprise that Cooper was held out of practice for non-injury reasons. However, it's also worth noting that he does have a heel issue, and it remains to be seen how much that will impact him going forward.

David Njoku Injury Update

Njoku (rest, knee) was held out of Tuesday's practice. It's unclear how much his status as a veteran contributed to this decision versus a nagging knee injury. We should gain more clarity on his condition when the Browns return to the practice field on Wednesday.

Raheem Mostert Injury Update

The Dolphins, who did not practice on Tuesday, estimated Mostert (knee, ankle) as a limited participant. With this status, he should have no trouble playing in a full capacity against the Chiefs on Saturday.

Joe Flacco Injury Update

Flacco (calf) logged a full practice on Tuesday. He should suit up this weekend, possessing significant fantasy appeal after totaling 1,616 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions through just five games with the Browns this year.

De'Von Achane Injury Update

The Dolphins, who did not practice on Tuesday, estimated Achane (toe, ribs) as a limited participant. As of now, there's no reason to panic about his status. He continues to trend in the right direction ahead of Saturday's game against the Chiefs.

Jaylen Waddle Injury Update

The Dolphins, who did not practice on Tuesday, estimated Waddle (ankle) as a limited participant. After missing two consecutive games, Waddle seems likely to play in the first round of the playoffs. However, official confirmation on his status might not be announced until later this week. In the event that he can't play, Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Braxton Berrios would handle increased opportunities.

Dustin Hopkins Injury Update

Hopkins (left hamstring) missed Tuesday's practice. Head coach Kevin Stefanski explained that he doesn't expect the veteran to play this weekend. Cleveland doesn't have another kicker on its active roster but will likely promote Riley Patterson from the practice squad.

Kareem Hunt Injury Update

Hunt (groin) missed Tuesday's practice. At this point, it's too early to tell whether he'll suit up against Houston, but there is certainly reason to be pessimistic about his status. If the veteran remains sidelined over the next few days and misses Saturday's game, Pierre Strong Jr. (back) would step up as the team's backup running back.

Noah Brown Injury Update

Brown (back) missed practice on Tuesday, creating some uncertainty about his status for Saturday's Wild Card game. The veteran has come back down to earth lately, catching just four passes for 46 yards over his last two games.

Robert Woods Injury Update

Woods (hip) missed Tuesday's practice, joining fellow receiver Noah Brown (back) on the injury report. Houston would benefit from having at least one of the two injured wideouts healthy as the second option behind Nico Collins this coming weekend. Woods has looked solid lately, commanding at least four targets in each of his last three games.

Pierre Strong Jr. Injury Update

Strong (back) missed practice Tuesday, joining fellow running back Kareem Hunt (groin) on the injury report. If both players are sidelined, the Browns would have to scramble, likely promoting John Kelly Jr. from their practice squad to back up Jerome Ford. Fortunately, Cleveland has several days to get one (or both) of their banged-up rushers back from the injury report.

Kadarius Toney Injury Update

Toney (hip, ankle) was officially limited during practice on Tuesday. Poor play and limited snaps have left him off the fantasy radar, and he represents an unappealing prop bet, too.

Justyn Ross Injury Update

Ross (hamstring) missed practice on Tuesday. Even if he progresses over the next few days and suits up versus Miami, he can be avoided in all fantasy football and betting formats.

Cedric Tillman Injury Update

Tillman (concussion) missed practice on Tuesday. He looked solid with an increased role in last week's season finale, catching three of six targets for 43 yards. He'll likely be inactive this Saturday (and should be avoided in all formats if he does play).

Marquise Goodwin Injury Update

Goodwin (knee) was limited on Tuesday. He could progress to a full participant by the end of the week, which would put him in line to suit up against Houston. However, he lacks fantasy appeal as a mere depth option in Cleveland.
