Is Christian McCaffrey playing this week in Week 15? Should I pickup and start Brian Robinson for fantasy football? Is Christian McCaffrey injured or healthy?
The opening round of the fantasy football playoffs began on Thursday, but the bulk of the Week 15 slate is set to kick off on Sunday with a loaded group of NFL games. We all want to win a fantasy football championship, and winning in Round 1 is the first step.
Unfortunately, one of the best players in all of fantasy football, Christian McCaffrey, is banged up heading into Week 15. If you have McCaffrey on your roster, you should have a backup plan, and anyone in need of a running back should be looking at stashing Brian Robinson Jr.
Will McCaffrey play this week? If he does not, should you start Robinson? Let's get to it.

Is Christian McCaffrey Playing In Week 15?
Standout 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (back) was added to the team's injury report late in the week due to a back injury. The 29-year-old has been healthy for most of the season after missing nearly all of last year, but by no surprise, he's feeling the wear and tear of leading the NFL with 322 touches this season.
That said, McCaffrey is reportedly trending toward facing the Tennessee Titans in the late-afternoon window of Sunday's action. Tennessee has allowed the third-most touchdowns to running backs, and even if McCaffrey's touches are limited, he has the chance to smash against Tennessee's struggling defensive unit.

Thanks to his do-it-all skill set as a runner and receiver, he's one of the safest options in all of fantasy football. As long as he's active, there's no way you can bench him with a playoff win on the line. His 22 half-PPR fantasy points per game rank third among all players this season.
Should I Pickup and Start Brian Robinson Jr. for Fantasy Football?
With CMC slated to play, Robinson can remain on the bench, unless you're in a super-deep league with limited options. If McCaffrey surprisingly gets ruled out before kickoff, Robinson would become a must-start. The former Alabama ball carrier has displayed fantasy football excellence in the past, and operating in Kyle Shanahan's offense as a likely workhorse would give him immense upside.

Fantasy managers with McCaffrey should stash Robinson now, if he's available. If you don't have McCaffrey but are hurting at the running back spot, he's worth a stash as well. We'd be looking at a clear RB2 with RB1 upside if he's elevated into the starting role.
