Alvin Kamara Injury Update

Kamara (hand, rib) was limited in practice but does not carry an injury designation into this week's game against the Panthers. He will suit up Sunday, benefitting from the return of Derek Carr and a favorable matchup against Carolina.

 

Josh Jacobs Injury Update

Jacobs (ankle) is questionable for Week 9 after logging two consecutive limited practices. The 26-year-old seems like he has a good chance to suit up, but managers should check back Sunday morning for updates and confirmation on his status.

 

Tank Bigsby Injury Update

Bigsby (ankle) is questionable for Week 9 after logging three limited practices in a row. The 22-year-old has been quite impressive over the last five weeks, but he's a bit less reliable this week given his injury status and the potential return of Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring).

 

Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Update

Robinson (hamstring) is questionable to face the Giants after he was limited in practice for three days in a row. Washington's top running back is trending toward playing, but managers should still check back Sunday for updates and official confirmation on Robinson's status.

 

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Injury Update

Tracy (concussion) cleared concussion protocol in less than a week and, against all odds, will play on Sunday against the Commanders. He should remain New York's lead back, ranking as a mid-range fantasy RB2 against Washington's subpar run defense.

 

Kareem Hunt Injury Update

Hunt (quadricep) returned to log a full practice on Friday. Pending some sort of setback on Saturday, he'll suit up as the Chiefs' RB1 this week versus Tampa Bay.

 

Tony Pollard Injury Update

Pollard (foot) is questionable to play in Week 9, but he's trending in the wrong direction after missing three consecutive practices. The 27-year-old has taken on a workhorse role this year but might miss Sunday's game against the Patriots. With Tyjae Spears (hamstring) already ruled out, we could see Julius Chestnut lead the Tennessee backfield.

 

Bucky Irving Injury Update

Irving (toe) has missed two consecutive practices and is trending in the wrong direction for Week 9 against the Chiefs. Fantasy managers should prepare for him to miss Monday Night Football, leaving Rachaad White in the lead-back role.

 

Jonathon Brooks Injury Update

Brooks (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 9, but head coach Dave Canales said that he doesn't expect the rookie to be activated from the non-football injury list this week. Once again, the Panthers will march forward with a backfield led by Chuba Hubbard.

 

Travis Etienne Jr. Injury Update

Etienne (hamstring) drew a "questionable" designation after being limited in three consecutive practices. The breakout of Bigsby makes it tough to trust Etienne as anything more than a low-floor RB3 option.

 

Zack Moss Injury Update

Moss (neck) popped up on the injury report Friday and is listed as doubtful for this weekend's game against the Bengals. Chase Brown will continue to handle a large role in Moss' absence.

 

Tyjae Spears Injury Update

Spears (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 9 after missing two more practices. If neither Pollard nor Spears can play this week, the Titans will call upon third-string running back Julius Chestnut to lead their backfield against New England.

 

Zamir White Injury Update

White (quadricep) returned to practice in a full capacity on Friday and is now preparing for a Week 9 battle with the Bengals. He remains behind Alexander Mattison and should be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

 

Kendre Miller Injury Update

Miller (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 9 after missing three consecutive practices. The 22-year-old has had trouble staying healthy throughout his young career.

 

Jamaal Williams Injury Update

Williams (groin) is doubtful to play in Week 9 after Friday's limited practice. While not yet officially ruled out, Williams is trending toward missing this week's divisional clash with Carolina.

 

Jerome Ford Injury Update

Ford (hamstring) has been removed from the final injury report after he managed to practice in a full capacity on Friday. The 25-year-old is expected to fill a change-of-pace role behind Nick Chubb, making him nothing more than an expensive Chubb handcuff.

 

Antonio Gibson Injury Update

Gibson (toe) logged a full practice on Friday and has been removed from the Patriots' final injury report. He merely offers a change of pace behind New England's top running back, Rhamondre Stevenson. Gibson should be dropped in most fantasy leagues.

 

Keilan Robinson Injury Update

Robinson (toe) is hoping to make his NFL debut after the Jaguars opened his window to return from injured reserve. The 24-year-old could get extra opportunities as early as this week if either Bigsby or Etienne, who are both listed as questionable, aren't able to suit up against the Eagles. For now, Robinson also finds himself listed as questionable.

 

Keaton Mitchell Injury Update

Mitchell (knee) was a full participant in practice this week, but the Ravens haven't committed to activating him from the PUP list yet. As a result, he remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

 

Rasheen Ali Injury Update

Ali (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 9 after he logged back-to-back limited practices. The 23-year-old will have to wait at least another week before getting into a game.

 

Sione Vaki Injury Update

Vaki (knee) missed Friday's practice and has since been ruled out. Fantasy managers shouldn't worry about the running back depth behind Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
