Hot MLB Prospects to Watch for Fantasy Baseball - Week 11 (2025)

fantasy baseball prospects MLB prospects rookies call-ups

Andersen looks at the top fantasy baseball prospects risers, sleepers for Week 11 of 2025. These MLB prospects may become strong waiver wire stashes or pickups.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We're heading into Week 11 of the baseball season, and the minor league schedule is in full swing. During last week's action, there were plenty of big plays and impressive prospect performances throughout Minor League Baseball.

Monitoring the top fantasy baseball prospects who have turned heads thus far is imperative. The players listed here are coming off dominant weeks and have significant long-term upside. Don't be surprised when these exact names are painting corners, mashing homers, and swiping bags at the big league level soon.

Savvy fantasy managers looking for an edge in their leagues should watch these players over the long haul, as they may soon be excellent additions.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Aaron Sabato, 1B, Minnesota Twins

Level: Double-A
2025 stats: 42 G, .289/.392/.517, 8 HR, 26 RBI, 20 R, 1 SB, 13.1% BB%, 25.6% K%, .361 BABIP, .412 wOBA, 150 wRC+

Sabato was the Twins' first-round pick in 2020, and while his development has taken longer than expected, he is still making a significant impact within the club's farm system.

Sabato is a bat-first player best known for his power from the right side of the plate. He has an aggressive approach when hitting, which has led to extremely high exit velocities, but plenty of swings and misses, too. Defensively, he's limited to first base and designated hitter.

Last week, Sabato went 10-for-24 with three homers, five doubles, and 10 RBI. He also drew four walks, struck out six times, and stole his first base of the season. The 26-year-old seems to be knocking at Triple-A's door and could be promoted soon.

Jack Perkins, SP, Athletics

Level: Triple-A
2025 stats: 7 G, 7 GS, 1-2, 32.2 IP, 3.58 ERA, 3.66 FIP, 13.50 K/9, 3.58 BB/9, 0.83 HR/9, 43.3% GB%, .297 BABIP

The Athletics selected Perkins, an Indiana product, in the fifth round of the 2022 MLB Draft. He made his Triple-A debut this spring and has found consistent success through seven starts there so far.

Perkins' fastball sits in the mid-90s and is capable of missing bats. His best secondary pitch is the slider, which also generates plenty of whiffs with its effective breaking action. He rounds out his repertoire with a cutter, curveball, and changeup. Having five pitches should allow Perkins to remain in consideration for a rotation role at the major league level.

Starting against Tacoma last Friday, Perkins allowed just two hits and two walks over five scoreless innings of work. Most importantly, he struck out 10 opposing batters. It was his third scoreless outing of the season and tied for his second-longest appearance. It was also the first time he struck out at least 10 batters in a single game this year.

Nick Goodwin, INF, Toronto Blue Jays

Level: High-A
2025 stats: 39 G, .258/.367/.484, 9 HR, 30 RBI, 23 R, 2 SB, 11.3% BB%, 17.2% K%, .258 BABIP, .388 wOBA, 131 wRC+

The Blue Jays used their seventh-round pick in 2023 to select Goodwin, a talented infielder from Kansas State. He has appeared at High-A in each of the last three seasons, but his recent success would seemingly justify a promotion to Double-A sooner rather than later.

Goodwin is an advanced hitter who can generate plenty of bat speed. As a result, he has consistently delivered high exit velocities, including on the Cape and in the pros. He improved his discipline year over year in college, and while he's still striking out a bit much in the minors, this season's 1.52 K/BB rate does represent an improvement from last season.

Through five games last week, Goodwin went 9-for-21 with five home runs and 12 RBI. He drew just one walk along the way but struck out only once. The versatile infielder's impressive display of power and improved plate discipline should evoke excitement within the Jays organization.

Coleman Crow, SP, Milwaukee Brewers

Level: Double-A
2025 stats: 9 G, 9 GS, 3-0, 37.0 IP, 2.43 ERA, 1.77 FIP, 11.19 K/9, 1.70 BB/9, 0.24 HR/9, 51.1% GB%, .295 BABIP

The Angels drafted Crow out of high school with their 28th-round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. He's shuffled around several organizations after a trade to the Mets in June 2023 and a trade to the Brewers in December 2023.

Thanks to Tommy John surgery, Crow barely pitched between 2023 and 2024, so this season's nine appearances represent his first real taste of action since 2022. He gets plenty of spin behind all four of his pitches. He headlines his repertoire with a fastball, complemented by a curveball, cutter, and slider. All four are effective offerings, but the curveball is the most lethal.

Pitching last Saturday, Crow allowed a season-high nine strikeouts over six innings of work. This tied his longest outing of the season, which is noteworthy given that he's just a few months removed from his Tommy John recovery. Throughout his start, he allowed just one hit, one walk, and zero runs.

Marshall Toole, OF, New York Yankees

Level: Single-A
2025 stats: 37 G, .316/.426/.513, 2 HR, 18 RBI, 30 R, 16 SB, 15.6% BB%, 21.3% K%, .407 BABIP, .438 wOBA, 161 wRC+

Toole is a talented left-handed hitter who consistently impressed (and improved) at Wofford. He has continued to develop and produce results ever since the Yankees selected him in the 15th round of the 2024 MLB Draft.

Although not a slugger, Toole makes a significant impact with the bat in his hands. He makes quality contact with his smooth, level swing. He hits the ball where it's pitched, allowing him to spray to all parts of the field. His strikeout rate is a little high for a non-power hitter, but he also walks at a high clip and has shown improved discipline year over year. Additionally, he runs well, making him a stolen base threat who can cover plenty of ground in center field.

Last week, Toole went 8-for-18 with two homers, one double, and one triple. He finished the week with 11 RBI, eight walks, two strikeouts, and six stolen bases. Although it was a small sample size for the 22-year-old outfielder, there's a lot to like about his contact skills (with a burst of power), reduced K/BB rate, and baserunning success from last week.
