Quarterback Plays for Fantasy Aces

Russell Wilson (@ ATL, $6,750)

Seattle's Week 5 Bye came at the perfect time as Wilson has been dealing with an ankle and a knee injury throughout most of the season. Look for the Seahawks' quarterback to be close to 100% for his Week 6 tilt with the Falcons in Seattle. The Seattle offense looks ready to take off, with Jimmy Graham starting to show the form that once made him one of the most feared weapons in the game back in New Orleans. Christine Michael is also showing the potential that made fantasy players drool a few years back. Add in a Falcons offense that should be able to score enough to push this game towards shootout status and Wilson is a great play this week. He is much cheaper than many of the top quarterback options on the slate and has the upside to outscore any of them.

Alex Smith (@ OAK, $6,150)

Smith is in a great spot this weekend as the Chiefs are coming off their Bye Week to take on an Oakland pass defense that has been extremely generous to opposing quarterbacks. The Raiders pass defense heads into Week 6 ranked 29th in DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, while allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Smith isn't usually a name to get all that excited about in fantasy, but this is shaping up as a week to utilize him.

Running Back Plays for Fantasy Aces

LeSean McCoy (vs. SF, $5,350)

McCoy is one of the top running back plays on the slate this week as the Bills welcome the 49ers to town. San Francisco has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, partially aided by the uptempo Chip Kelly offense which forces opponents to run more plays than usual. With Sammy Watkins sidelined, McCoy is really the only threat the Bills have on offense and, as such, they will continue to ride him as long as they can. Not only is McCoy a great choice this week, but he's $1,100 cheaper than Le'Veon Bell; the highest priced back on the slate. McCoy will likely be one of the highest owned players this weekend, but he will be well worth eating the chalk, especially in cash games.

Christine Michael (vs. ATL, $4,950)

Michael has a prime matchup against Atlanta and should be relatively fresh coming out of Seattle's Bye. Atlanta's run defense has not offered much resistance to opposing running backs this season, ranking 24th in DVOA and coughing up the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the position. This backfield belongs to Michael and it should remain that way as long as he stays healthy. A triple Seahawks stack of Russell Wilson, Michael, and Jimmy Graham is shaping up as an interesting option for lineups this weekend.

Wide Receiver Plays for Fantasy Aces

Antonio Brown (@ MIA, $6,500)

Brown is the most expensive receiver on Aces this weekend, but rightfully so as he has a prime matchup against a Dolphins secondary that has been getting roasted on a regular basis by opposing wideouts. The Steelers should be able to do whatever they want on offense against Miami this weekend. They displayed their scoring capability against the Chiefs a few weeks ago when they weren't shy about throwing in the second half of games, even with a big lead. If you can't fit Brown into your lineup, Larry Fitzgerald also has a great matchup against Jets slot cornerback Buster Skrine this weekend.

Marvin Jones (vs. LA, $4,800)

Jones remains the NFL leader in receiving yards, with 519 through the first five weeks of the season. For his efforts, he checks in at just $4,800 against a very burnable Rams secondary. Jones has thrived as Matthew Stafford's top option in his first season in Detroit and should remain at the forefront of the offensive gameplan this weekend, especially with Eric Ebron out and Theo Riddick questionable with an ankle injury.

Tight End Play for Fantasy Aces

Greg Olsen (@ NO, $5,200)

Olsen is the premium tight end play on the board this weekend, if you can afford him. He is coming off a huge week which saw him rumble for 181 yards on nine catches against the Buccaneers. He gets another favorable matchup this weekend as he will take on a Saints defense that should be susceptible in the middle of the field. While New Orleans has solid numbers against tight ends this season, they have faced Clive Walford, Jacob Tamme, Will Tye, and Hunter Henry. Not exactly a star-studded cast there and the best of the bunch, Henry, hung four catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. This game should be fast-paced and high scoring, a perfect combination for the passing games of both Carolina and New Orleans.
