FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/3/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

draymond green NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

John Brubaker highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/3/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Happy Friday, RotoBallers, and welcome to December! I hope this week of NBA DFS has treated you well. I'm continuing to work on my NBA model, trying to gather more information to make sure all of you are as armed as possible going into each slate. Even with the small adjustments I've made so far, it seems to be working. I'm trying to implement different factors to separate cash options against GPP options. I'll continue to keep you all updated with the adjustments I make, and with all of that said, let's get to tonight!

Tonight we have a big slate, with nine games on tap. With FanDuel adding multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/3/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Cole Anthony, PG/SG - at HOU ($8,300)

Cole Anthony is making a serious case for Most-Improved Player this season. After a six-game injury hiatus, Anthony came back with a 43.1 FanDuel point performance on Wednesday against the Nuggets. He now gets a solid matchup against Houston, who rank 17th in point guard efficiency. Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood both left Houston's game on Monday due to injury and are both questionable to play tonight, so I expect the Magic and Anthony to come into this one with some fire to grab their sixth win of the season. My early projections have Anthony at 41.5 FanDuel points, coming right in at 5x value.

Tyler Herro, SG/SF - at IND ($7,000)

The Heat have been hit with the injury bug, which creates some value in their starting lineup. Tyler Herro is the first to come to mind, and he has a great matchup against Indiana, who come in ranked 20th in shooting guard efficiency and 22nd in small forward efficiency. Herro gets a pretty solid boost with Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler out, raising his usage as well as his FanDuel points per minute, coming in at 1.03 with those two off of the floor. I currently have Herro projected at 38.82 FanDuel points, well over 5x value.

Dennis Schroder, PG/SG - at UTA ($5,500)

Schroder has underdelivered in his Celtics stint thus far, but he's popping in my projections tonight as a solid GPP play. He's projected 27.98 FanDuel points tonight, which comes in at a 5.09x value. He should get a minutes and usage boost tonight with Jaylen Brown ruled out, but I would tread with caution against the Jazz who rank 10th in point guard efficiency. I wouldn't play him in cash, but I'd bet he goes under-owned in GPPs, making him a very solid play in tournaments.

Also consider: Landry Shamet ($3,800), Patty Mills ($4,900)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jarrett Allen, PF/C - at WAS ($8,000)

Allen has been on an absolute tear of late. He's averaging nearly 44 FanDuel points over his last four games and comes into a decent matchup against Washington, who ranks 10th in center efficiency but 27th in power forward efficiency. Cedi Osman has already been ruled out of this matchup, and Dean Wade is GTD. With Osman off the floor, Allen's FanDuel points per minute jump 0.04 points to 1.16, and with Wade off of the floor that jumps to 1.18. If Wade sits I think he's an absolute lock at PF, but I like him regardless. My projections have Allen at 40.41 FanDuel points tonight, just over 5x value.

DeAndre' Bembry, SF/SG - vs MIN ($4,400)

Bembry is projected to get the start for the fourth time in five games during the absence of Joe Harris. He had a respectable 22.5 FanDuel point performance on Tuesday but had logged 36.3 and 34 point performances in the two games prior. He has a chance to get back to those numbers tonight against a Minnesota team that comes in ranked 26th in small forward efficiency. My early projections have Bembry playing 32 minutes tonight and logging 24.12 FanDuel points, making him a solid value option on the slate.

Cam Johnson, SF - at GS ($3,900)

It's rare that I would play a bench player in a cash lineup, but I may make the exception for Johnson tonight. Johnson logged 27 minutes last night, scoring 32.2 FanDuel points against the Pistons. The matchup with the Warriors proves to be a tougher one, as they come into this one ranked 13th in small forward efficiency, but Johnson is priced low enough that I don't worry about that as much. With Devin Booker out for the next few games, Johnson gets a boost as he has a +0.07 increase of FanDuel points per minute up to 0.84. He should play around 30 minutes tonight on the back-to-back, making him another solid value option at forward.

Also consider: Caris LeVert ($4,800), Draymond Green ($7,100)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Dewayne Dedmon, C - at IND ($5,500)

Dedmon exploded for a 39.1 FanDuel point performance on Wednesday against the Cavs. He gets a tough matchup against the Pacers tonight, who come in ranked sixth in center efficiency. However, Dedmon gets a huge boost with Adebayo, Butler, and Markieff Morris off of the floor, coming in at 0.98 FanDuel points per minute. My early projections reflect this, showing a minutes projection of 29 minutes and a point projection of 32.87. With a 5.98 value projection, he ranks as my top player in terms of value on the slate.

Wendell Carter Jr., C/PF - vs DEN ($6,500)

Is it really one of my articles without a WCJ mention? He let us down on Wednesday night, turning out a 26.6 FanDuel point performance. He'll look to get back on point tonight against the Rockets who come into this one ranked 26th in center efficiency and 16th in power forward efficiency. He's projected to play 32 minutes once again tonight and has a projection of 33.57 FanDuel points. He's a solid GPP pivot off of Dedmon if you have the extra $1,000, but unless something changes, Dedmon is my primary center tonight.

Also consider: LaMarcus Aldridge ($5,700), John Collins ($7,700)
