FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/3/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! I hope this week of NBA DFS has treated you well. I've been taking the last few days just playing lower stakes and making adjustments to my model in order to provide you all with the best information possible. While variance tends to be low in NBA DFS, it is a sport that is ever-changing. This year we're seeing some massive changes, with refs less likely to call fouls when players intentionally attempt to draw them, as well as letting more contact around the rim. I think this is a positive thing for the NBA moving forward, but it's something we have to adjust to as fantasy players. I ensure you all myself as well as everyone else here at RotoBaller are making the adjustments necessary to help you win some money. With all of that said, let's get right to it!

Tonight we have a big slate, with 11 games on tap. With FanDuel adding multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/3/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Ja Morant, PG - vs DEN ($9,500)

Morant has had a fantastic start to the season, averaging 28.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game. He's good for roughly 35 minutes per game and is averaging 47.51 FD points per game. He gets Denver once again on the second leg of a home-and-home. He played 35 minutes, scoring 26/7/8 en route to 45.4 FD points on Monday. Expect him to make the adjustments necessary and dominate once again.

Fred VanVleet, SG/PG - at WAS ($8,000)

The fact that VanVleet's price continues to be so low just baffles me. He's played no less than 34 minutes in any game so far this season and is averaging 37.29 FD points per game. He's been getting the job done with assists and on the glass as well, making him an excellent option in both cash and GPP formats. He gets a solid matchup against the high-paced Wizards tonight, and I'm looking for FVV to get some revenge from that rough 27.6-point outing on opening night.

Tyrese Haliburton, PG/SG - vs NO ($6,000)

Another player who feels too cheap relative to his production, Haliburton comes into this one averaging 29.79 fantasy points per game. This average is seriously being weighed down by his 12.4-point opening night performance against Portland, as Haliburton has scored at least 29.9 FD points in every outing since, and at least 30 points in five of his last six games. While the upside isn't much higher than his median, he's an excellent cash-game option as you can essentially guarantee 5x value from him.

Also consider: Derrick White ($6,100), Darius Garland ($5,900)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

OG Anunoby, SF/SG - at WAS ($7,300)

Back to the Toronto/Washington game, I'm expecting the Raptors to come out strong and dominate this one. I think Washington keeps it close enough to not have to worry about a blowout, but the Raptors want this one back. Anunoby logged 30.5 points against Washington in 33 minutes on opening night but is looking to do that and more tonight. Washington has struggled against bigger forwards this season, allowing +4.73 points per game against the league average. I'll have a ton of exposure to this game tonight.

Kyle Kuzma, SF/PF - vs TOR ($6,900)

Once again, this time on the other side of this game, I'm looking at Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma is averaging 34.34 FD points per game this season, with those numbers being weighed down by his most recent performance against Atlanta as well as a game last week against Brooklyn, where he played just 26 minutes. As of now, Kuzma is one of my top projected forwards on the slate, creating great value at just $6.9K.

Georges Niang, PF - vs CHI ($3,700)

More of a longshot play here, but as a Sixers fan, I've really liked what I've seen from Niang this year so far. His minutes saw a huge boost on Monday night where he had 21/5/5 while logging 31 minutes. I don't expect him to play over 30 minutes tonight, but with Tobias Harris out for the foreseeable future, he could easily log 25 minutes and hit value.

Also consider: Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($6,100), Kevin Durant ($10,800)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Joel Embiid, C - vs CHI ($9,700)

Speaking of Sixers, we'll look at the big man himself, Joel Embiid. Embiid's minutes are down this season, thanks to the addition of Andre Drummond. While I think this is what's best for the Sixers from a real-life perspective, it would've been hard for Embiid to consistently hit 5x value at $10K+ with his minutes declining the way they have. Luckily for us, his price is now under $10K. As of now, I have him the highest-projected center on the slate. In seven games against the Bulls, Embiid is averaging 61.81 FD points per game in 32.3 minutes per game. I don't think the Bulls have anyone who can guard him, making him a great play for tonight's slate.

Mo Bamba, C/PF - vs BOS ($6,600)

As the season progresses, I have to imagine two things. First, Bamba's price will be on the rise over $7K, if not $8K. Second, I think his strong ownership on every slate he's on will decrease and he'll become more of a GPP option. I think Bamba is a fantastic basketball player from both a real-life and fantasy perspective, but his production has been nothing if not volatile through the first two weeks of the season. While he has four games with over 35 FD points, he's accumulated less than 30 FD points in his other three games. Fortunately for him tonight, he gets a matchup with Boston who can't seem to guard anyone. I would certainly recommend Embiid over Bamba if I'm picking just one, but in all likelihood, I'll be playing both tonight.

Also consider: Jonas Valanciunas ($8,800), Khem Birch ($4,200)
