FanDuel, DraftKings CFB DFS Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football Advice for 11/5/19

Week 11 college football DFS lineups, sleepers and value picks for the early slate on FanDuel and DraftKings on November 5th. Target these NCAA players in CFB daily fantasy tournaments and cash games.

November is upon us and we are only a few weeks from conferences being decided. Alabama and LSU will face off this Saturday, but the CFB week starts early with a Tuesday two-game slate. Both games have totals over 60 points, so offense will be present. Let's dive in and break this slate down.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the main slate of games on FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/5/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

It's an extremely fun slate ahead of us, with more than enough offense to go around. I'll be breaking down the later slate in a different article, so make sure to keep an eye out for that as well. Let's dive into some of the top plays at each position. You can follow me on Twitter @VarneyDFS. I will be around all day to answer questions.

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks

Dustin Crum - Kent State - FanDuel $8,300 / DraftKings $6,700

First things first, quarterback is ugly. These are four teams who get it done on the ground and pass the ball to open up the run. We are working with two 60+ totals, so there will be a QB that throws for two or three scores. The two quarterbacks I have interest in on this slate are underdogs. That’s extremely rare for college football. Typically, you’re looking to target the big favorites that are going to lay on the points. Tonight, however, I think both favorites try to establish the run and we’ll focus on them at running back. The top option at QB is Dustin Crum. He’s a fine passer and has been over 200 yards two weeks in a row, but his real value comes on the ground. Crum has double-digit carries in six straight games and has been over 30 fantasy points twice. He’s cheap and my favorite option.

Drew Plitt - Ball State - FanDuel $8,700 / DraftKings $7,600

Plitt is probably the best passer on this slate, and he’s going to be throwing the ball a lot if Ball State is behind. There are pass-catchers to pair with Plitt and this Western Michigan pass defense is soft. If you can afford to pay up, I think Plitt is lesser owned because of the ownership. Jon Wassink is also pretty safe on the other side, but I’m putting my WMU eggs in the Bellamy basket. We’ll get there.

Also Consider - Jon Wassink

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Running Backs

Bryant Koback - Toledo - FanDuel $10,500 / DraftKings $7,200

Koback is your top dog at running back. Toledo has an identity of running the ball and Koback is the face of it. He’s been over 20 carries in three of the last five games and went for 259 yards and two touchdowns just last week. Koback is going to bed fed the ball like crazy and Toledo is a seven-point favorite in a game with a 63 total. That’s nearly 40 implied points out of Toledo, whose number one priority is getting Koback going.

LeVante Bellamy - Western Michigan - FanDuel $10,300 / DraftKings $7,800

Bellamy is in a similar boat as Bryant Koback. He’s on the team that’s favored by seven with a 60+ total. Bellamy is a true workhorse back and he could see 25 carries for 200 yards and two scores tonight. Ball State is terrible on the ground and like Toledo, Western Michigan is focused on running the ball. Bellamy is the best player on the team and is going to have a huge night. I wouldn’t fade either of these top two running backs.

Caleb Huntley - Ball State - FanDuel $8,000 / DraftKings $5,400

You can ignore last game for Caleb Huntley. He was injured and the head coach already came out and said he’s once again ready for a full run. Well, we know what that means. Prior to last week, Huntley went for 119, 152, and 157 yards. This game is going to be close, so don’t worry about Ball State not running the ball. Huntley will see 15+ carries and I’m a big fan in all formats. My super-flex will be Caleb Huntley.

Shakif Seymour - Toledo - FanDuel $6,900 / DraftKings $4,900

Truth be told, the three guys listed above are head and shoulders above the rest. With that being said, Shakif Seymour does see some time next to Bryant Koback and he could certainly snipe a couple of touchdowns. Seymour is cheap and a solid GPP play if you’re fading Koback. Not me.

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers

Justin Hall - Ball State - FanDuel $8,800 / DraftKings $6,500

The top raw wide receiver on this slate is Justin Hall. It’s an ugly slate at WR and we’re really just looking for guys that will put up four or five catches and close to 100 yards. Hall has seen 43 targets over the last six games and is clearly the number one option for Drew Plitt. Riley Miller is the number two and he’s another great option where a tad bit cheaper.

Isaiah McKoy - Kent State - FanDuel $8,200 / DraftKings $5,300

McKoy has five or more catches in four of his last five games. He’s the top option on this Kent State offense and Dustin Crum looks his way a ton. The 6-foot-3 wideout is by far the most talented wideout for Kent State and Crum gives him a lot of chances to just go get it himself. McKoy could be more expensive and I would still be interested. I like him in both cash games and tournaments.

Gio Ricci - Western Michigan - FanDuel $7,500 / DraftKings $6,200

Wassink is a pretty good QB, so it’s not a bad idea to get some exposure to this passing game. Gio Ricci has been the clear top target of late, catching 28 balls over the last six games with three touchdowns. WMU is projected to put up nearly 40 points, so two touchdowns out of Ricci would be far from a surprise.

Nick Kovacs - Toledo - FanDuel $4,900 / DraftKings $3,500

I know the guy I mention here as the value WR is going to get a lot of play, but I want to be clear that I’m no magician and this lower end of WR is truly a crapshoot tonight. I’ll do my best to somewhat break it down. Bussell, Mixon Jr., and Hall for WMU are fine. There are a lot of mouths to feed and Wassink won’t be passing that much. Hall if you force me to pick. Antwan Dixon is another option that will likely see four or five targets. My favorite is Nick Kovacs, who seems to disappear at times, but has so much talent and the stature to back it up (6’3, 200, jumps out the roof). Toledo is going to score tonight and I could see Kovacs grabbing a touchdown.
