FanDuel Quarterback - Week 3 DFS Picks

Drew Brees (vs ATL, $9,000)

Brees isn't a cheap option this week, but he will be worth every penny. He is always an elite option at home, where the Saints have a significantly higher passing rating as an offense. He also gets a good matchup against the Falcons, who have struggled defensively this season. The Saints are -3.5 favorites in a game set at 52.5 points; the highest over/under on the slate. The game should stay close enough that the Saints pass from the start to the finish. Brees is a great option in all leagues.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 3 DFS Picks

Melvin Gordon (at IND, $7,100)

Gordon has looked outstanding this season, even though he has lost quite a few snaps to Danny Woodhead. That won't be the case this week, though, as Woodhead suffered an injury last week. Gordon will get a workhorse's work load, similar to last week. He gets a great matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who have been decimated by injuries this season. Gordon is the preferred red zone running back for the Chargers, which gives him touchdown potential. He should also add a few catches this week while playing full snaps. He will likely be chalk on this slate, but it's tough to avoid him at this price.

Charles Sims (vs LA, $6,300)

Sims is another running back that will likely be chalk this week, but he's another player that is a bit too cheap. Doug Martin has been ruled out for a few weeks, and Sims will get the first crack at replacing him. Sims has flashed upside this season, especially because of his ability to catch the ball. He gets a fairly tough matchup against the Rams, but they have struggled to defend the run at times. Sims is a safe enough option to be used in all leagues, as he's cheap and will be playing plenty of snaps this week.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 3 DFS Picks

Willie Snead (vs ATL, $7,500)

There are a few players that can be stacked with Brees this week, but Snead leads the group. He has been a big part of the Saints offense, as he has scored in each of his first two games this season. He will continue to be a touchdown threat, and he's also a fairly safe player. He will see his fair share of targets, as he gets a good matchup against the Falcons. Desmond Trufant will likely get the task of covering Brandin Cooks, while Robert Alford and company will guard Snead. That means the Saints could use Snead more in the game plan this week. He's a great option for his price tag.

Marvin Jones Jr. (at GB, $6,900)

After a somewhat disappointing Week 1, Jones was owned fairly low Week 2. That will likely be the case this week, but he's an elite receiving option, especially for his low price tag. Jones has 21 targets this season, and he has played well in each of his first two games. He has yet to score a touchdown, which means Jones has much more upside than he has displayed thus far. He gets a good matchup against the Packers, who were recently dominated by Stefon Diggs. Jones is a safe option with great upside.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 3 DFS Picks

Jordan Reed (at NYG, $7,500)

Reed has been a consistent fantasy option through his first two games, but he has yet to dominate the way everyone knows he can. That will change this week, as he gets a great matchup against the Giants, who have looked terrible against the tight end this season. Jason Witten dominated them in the first week, and Coby Fleener was consistently open last week, but dropped a couple passes. The Redskins will likely be looking to Reed for touchdown production. He is a tight end worth paying up for this week.
